I think the biggest thing sort of like tip #1, but not just how much you go, but purely wave count. I think you mentioned this before but just sitting on the inside and catching like 30+ waves a session is going to make a massive difference. The waves you surf are so small and most of the time you can only do maybe two turns or an air, but you absolutely rip because you've just gotten so many. There's a reason the brazilians are so good. So many beach breaks where they catch like 10,000 waves.

Summer. Funny because the surf is so bad in the summer around Perth. 2-3 surfs a week......only when the wave pool gets built!!

Don’t surf much right now. I do it when I can. I surf once a week for school and on the weekend if I can but in six months we’re going around Australia baby and I’ll be surfing every day

first tip is so hard to do when you live 50 mins from the nearest beach and don’t have your p’s but this whole videos is so helpful, you should make little smoothstar tutorials on tik tok or something because i’ve never come across any good top turn ones or anything!

Summer. Solid tips bro. Yeah I struggle with the footage bit. Try and rely on surfline cameras, but some of the cameras you gotta catch a wave at the right time the cameras positioned good. Some have four angles haha crazy.

Hey Noz, I want to get really good at surfing, but I live on the North Shore of New Zealand and the waves are only good once or twice a fortnight, so I don't really do much surfing but when there is surf I make a big point on going. I even go out at my local break in 1ft onshore just to keep my paddling and turning good. Is there anyway to actually improve a lot if I don't go out often?
