    Was that peter Mel
    It had an insightful viewpoint the whole way with individual knowledge of each surfer
    If your trying to further the sport of competitive surfing this is the type of commentary people expect and will respond to

    If I could say one thing thanks Pete and Jeff Clarke for that wonderful documentary on maverick’s I had no idea how much of a great guy Jeff Clarke is but knew he was a great surfer
    That whole doco was so great and the history of all the Hawaiians and Americans coming to maverick’s I watched it twice

    The judges wanted Griffin to win so bad - underscoring Kauli and overscoring Griffin, especially in the early part of the heat. Well played Kauli!
